HOUSTON – The HBU men’s soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of visiting San Jose State, 2-0, in the second game of the HBU Classic Friday afternoon.

The Spartans scored both goals in the first half, as Justin Castro scored in the 19^th minute, as Ricky Dorrego was credited with the assist on the corner kick.

Less than 20 minutes later, Robert Jackson made it 2-0 as Justin Castro created a turnover deep in Husky territory.

Michael Bouchahine was the hard-luck loser, as he made four saves, while Jonathan Lester made one.

SJSU outshot HBU, 9-7, while HBU held a slim 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.

HBU (4-6-0) will conclude the Classic against Air Force (4-3-1) – 4-0 winners against Howard – Sunday at 2 pm. That match follows SJSU and Howard at noon.
