WASHINGTON, D.C. – Matt Marshall’s goal in the 87th minute gave the host Howard Bison a 1-0 victory over HBU Friday evening in an Atlantic Soccer Conference match.

Howard outshot the Huskies 19-11, including a 9-3 advantage in the second half, but it was one shot that made the difference. Marshall scored on a header from a corner kick off the foot of Harvey Livingston, the Bison’s ninth corner kick of the night.

Michael Bouchahine played all 90 minutes, making five saves, while Howard’s Victor Thomas made three saves in the win.

HBU (6-9-0, 2-1-0 ASC) will conclude the regular season at Longwood on Sunday, set for a noon CST start time.
