HBU Volleyball Hosts Utah Valley

The Huskies (11-17, 3-7 GWC) are led by senior outside hitter Ligia Clemente, who averages 2.48 kills per set, and freshman outside hitter Heather Leaverton, who averages 2.45 kills and 2.56 digs per set. Sophomore libero Courtney Whittleman leads the team with 4.64 digs per set, senior setter Natalie Magat leads the team in attack percentage and assists and junior middle blocker Sarah Hazlewood leads HBU with 77 blocks.

Kayli Broadbent leads Utah Valley (17-9, 7-2) with 4.32 kills per set and also averages 2.13 digs per set, while Camie Manwill adds 3.48 kills and 3.07 digs per set. Allyce Jones paces the Wolverines defensively with 5.25 digs per set, and Sarah Clement has 90 blocks on the season.

HBU will wrap up the regular season by hosting Prairie View A&M in a rescheduled match Monday at 7 p.m. at Sharp Gym, before hosting the Great West Conference Tournament Nov. 20-21. Monday is Senior Night, where Clemente, Magat and defensive specialists Samantha Wilson and Lize Hicks will be honored.
