2009: Appeared in 20 games, including 14 starts as a junior…fourth on the team with a .283 batting average with two triples, four RBIs and 10 runs…posted a .368 on-base percentage and a .350 slugging percentage…recorded five multi-hit games…walked four times with an RBI and a run at Northwestern State (3/1)…went 2-for-5 in back-to-back games at Louisiana Tech (3/20-21) and had a triple, two RBIs and two runs in the series finale (3/22)…tied an HBU record with eight at-bats at New Mexico State (5/1)…went 3-for-4 at Sam Houston State (4/22)…went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run against Texas-Pan American (5/22).

Previous College: Finished his sophomore season with a .408 batting average...hit four home runs in 2008.

High School: Earned All-Greater Houston honors as a senior...named all-district.

Personal: Business administration and marketing major...son of Ted and Lee Anne Zikeli...born July 23, 1988...one sister, Mallory...father played baseball at Austin Peay.
