2009: Appeared in 41 games, including 34 starts (33 at designated hitter) and four relief appearances as a freshman…was third on the team with a .297 batting average and had 10 extra-base hits, 20 RBIs and 16 runs…posted a .326 on-base percentage and slugged .383…recorded 11 multi-hit games, including four three-hit outings…went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs against Lubbock Christian (3/7)…went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs at Louisiana Tech (3/22)…went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs against Northern Colorado (4/9)…went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs against Prairie View A&M (5/13)…recorded two hits in five of six games April 4-11, hitting .455 (10-for-22) with two doubles, with six RBIs and four runs.

High School: Named all-district as a senior...was a three-time letterman for coach Herb Espinosa.
