High School: Was a unanimous three-time all-district 24-5A selection for coach Bobby Williams...high school teammate of fellow Husky freshman Jake Gonzalez...was also a three-time all-Brazoria County selection and was named to the HABCA Southeast All-Star Team and All-Greater Houston first team...hit. 485 with seven home runs, 42 RBIs, 15 stolen bases and a .983 fielding percentage as a senior...graduated summa cum laude in the top two percent of his class...member of National Honor Society and student council and was named THSBCA academic all-state.
